Brief Answer:
unfortunately soft tissue pain can last 2 to 6 weeks

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The pain due to soft tissue injury can last 2 to 6 weeks unfortunately. It depends on the severity of the injury and also somewhat on treatment eg if a person has a busy schedule and unable to rest as required, then this delays healing

Numbness should be temporary and would be due to slight trauma to the nerves from your fall. This should improve but again can take a few weeks.

Meloxicam is an anti inflammatory medication that should help with pain relief in the various areas, the dose is usually 7.5 mg but in severe pain, short courses of 15 mg are given. If you are using the 7.5, the option exists to increase it for a few days, after discussion with your doctor.

A warm compress to the area, 2 to 4 times daily for 10 to 15 mins, may also be helpful.
You may want to consider imaging of the shoulder with x ray, if it was not already done, to make sure that there are no bony injuries.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
