Brief Answer:
your doctors concern is genuine
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
You must be feeling real bad for your doctor not giving you the medicine you require. But the doctors rarely do what the patient wants, but they always do what the patient needs. With so many medicines you are bound to have drug interactions. If your doctor is cutting on some medicine it is for your benefit. Regarding the bad back lain you suffer from ask your pain specialist regarding minimal invasive procedures like epidurals, transforaminal blocks or RF etc which might give you added benefit.
Hope, I answered your query.

My question was...are any of my meds causing a false positive for XXXXXXX and tramadole? I am off of the morphine and oxycodone and do not wish to return to them. My concern is that those FALSE positives could get me in trouble with the DEA. Also, if I need to return to opiates, I sure dont want these tests on my record. It is a matter of principal!
Brief Answer:
yes
Detailed Answer:
Hi, your concern is genuine. The drugs you are using come under opiod category. So these drugs may very well cause false positive. So in case you are taking these drugs you need atleast 2 weeks to let the metabolites go out of your body before youundergo these tests.
