Question: can picking a scab high in your nose cause dizziness? qhenwver i pick it i feel like i have dizziness/vertigo for a while and a headache. i know i shouldnt pick but its soo dry all the time.

1. You might be aware that nose picking and scab removal causes irritation of nerves in the nose and leads to sensations including headache, dizziness and vertigo.

2. This can also cause bleeding and infections involving the nose and sinuses.

3. To solve the above problem, I suggest you buy saline nose drops from the pharmacy. Please apply 2 drops in the nostril which is feeling dry and after 5 minutes you can rinse your nose using water. This will remove any scan after making it wet and will not cause any of the symptoms.

4. You can repeat the process every 3 to 4 hours in the day and avoid picking your nose.
