Brief Answer: Diet control and excercises will help Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic. I have gone through your query and based on your blood test it seems you have prediabetes, which is define as - A1C of 5.7% – 6.4% Fasting blood glucose of 100 – 125 mg/dl, 2 hour (after meal) blood glucose of 140 mg/dl – 199 mg/dl. You will not develop type 2 diabetes automatically, about 50-60% persons (prediabetes) with blood test like your's don't. For some people with prediabetes, early treatment can actually return blood glucose levels to the normal range. By Losing 7% of your body weight (or 6 kg as you weigh 80 kg), exercising moderately (such as brisk walking) 30 minutes a day, five days a week. Avoid potatoes, rice and sweet fruit's and sugar in any form. Don't worry if you can't get to your ideal body weight. Losing even 6-8 kg can make a huge difference. You can definitely give a fair trial of 2 week's duration followed by blood test. Take care and wish you good health. I shall be glad to answer if, you have any further query.

Brief Answer: Diet chart Detailed Answer: Hi, It’s good to see you again. I would advise, a simple and balanced diet, in adherence to your calorie requirement, works best. High fibre foods like XXXXXXX green vegetables, fruits such as XXXXXXX peach and guava are very good for diabetes. Food items low on fibre content but high on carbohydrate have to be removed and fatty foods are a complete no-no. Planning an entire day is another important part of a diabetic’s diet and that can be done with the help of the following chart-. Breakfast: Toast, tea or coffee (without sugar), fruit, salted XXXXXXX Lunch: Two chapattis, veggies (beans and other greens), dal (yellow, moong), raita and salad Evening Tea: Snacks preferably salted, veg. or non-veg. soup Dinner: Two chapattis made of mixed flour (wheat, gram and soya), veggies, cottage cheese (paneer), salad. As far as your query on herbal medicine and to increase insulin production is concerned, i would advise you following food items available in your kitchen- 1. Methi seeds are considered the most effective of natural cures that can help alleviate typical symptoms of diabetes. Methi seeds should be soaked in water overnight. The water concentrated with the seeds’ juices should be consumed early in the morning on an empty stomach. For making this natural concoction stronger, you can crush the seeds and sieve them through a cloth or filter. 2.Some juices have been found to be effective in controlling high sugar .The most recommended variety here is the Karela juice. 3.An effective, natural concoction for diabetes can be prepared by adding a few teaspoons of Tejpatra with one teaspoon of turmeric. This mixture should be mixed with an equal amount of aloe vera gel and consumed daily, before lunch and dinner. 4.Another useful way is by increasing the fiber content in chappatis . The refined flour should be mixed with a combination of flours procured from different cereals, particularly those high in soluble fiber. This includes flours of barley and lentils like Chana Dal and soya bean.. 5..Jamun is one of the rarest plants where nearly each part, the leaves, berry and seeds are known to help in controlling blood sugar levels. Instead of using only Neem leaves, you can also add leaves of Tulsi and Bel Patra. All these leaves can be boiled together for increasing the potency of filtered extract. I hope this whole discussion will be helpful for you to fight against increased blood sugar level. Take care and wish you good health. If you don’t have further query you may close and rate the discussion 5 star. So that i have a good feedback. My online contact link is http://bit.ly/drmchugh Regards
