Thank you for your question. The prostate gland is located after the urinary bladder before the urethra and the penis.

This area can also be palpated behind the rectum by inserting a finger through the anus.

This is the reason why prostatitis can often be felt in front of the anus behind the scrotum. Infection will cause swelled by and tenderness of the prostate.
