Brief Answer:
Following answer to your query.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Gastritis may mimic some of the symptoms of cardiac problems. It's essential to exclude any cardiac problems before saying that gastritis is responsible for your symptoms.

Some of the recent studys shows that prolonged use of PPI drugs (for years) was associated companies an increase risk for cardiac events. However other data are needed to confirm those results.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations to exclude cardiac issues:
- blood work
- ecg
- cardiac echo
- stress test

Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
