Can Purple Pill With 30 Mg Morphine Be Taken After Carpal Tunnel Surgery?

Question: I take warfarin, lipitor, high blood pressure pill, potassium, anti depressant, lorezapam for anxiety, and hydrocone but.... I, out of hydrocofone anf friend gave me purple pill. I looked it up and it is 30mg morphine. I'm in pain......recently had carpal tunnel durgery both s risrs, have had 2 strokes....damage on left side. Have factor IV lieden mutation. Have spinal stenosis c6/7. Saw ortho foc yedterdsy gor dhoulder have slight rot cuff tear, cartilage hoing, bone spur from clavicle downward and something else from birth that did nt fuse on top of clavical. Out of hydrocodone can't get more yet. Want to take this morph 30 for pain friend gave me?????

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here. Sir I would like you to understand that morphine is a very strong analgesic and is always handled only by an anaesthesiologist in most countries. I do not know the rules on your side of the world, but sir the reason why this medication is strictly handled and circulated is because of its many side effects, drug interactions and addictive nature.

One of the many contraindications to taking this medication is any previous heart condition. As you mentioned a history of strokes (which are nothing but a transient ischaemic attack) where the heart is involved I would strongly recommend against the use of morphine without supervision. So please try to use another pain killer which holds less side effects to your medical history sir. Please do not feel disheartened by my advise, but I only have your best interest at heart.

Thank u for uour advice. I am also having depression ehich they've given me citalopram 10 mg. I've applied for XXXXXXX dsblty but takes about 2 years to be approved. I've had to file bankruptcy have lost my home and good credit standing. Havent been able to work 2 years now. My health is terribke. Couldnt get health insurance since heart surgery. Recently was approved for medicaid, state government for indigents. I can't hold my 11 month grandson, don't have stamina to have 7 and 12 yr grandkids over often. I cry all the time. Moved in with my boyfriend and help him with his home and business oaperwork but there's a lol ot of stress and anxiety there. Not getting along good right now. So I also take anti anxuety lorazepam 0.5 mg ip to 3 a day. I have .50mg xanax friend also gave me. Works better than both the loraz and cital, but should I ask my doc about changing something.and are they ok to take with other meds?? Not the two anti's just coumadin lipitor high blood pressure and potassium? Afraid to ask my doc! Can't ket him fire me!

I am sorry to hear about the tough times you are going through, and trust me when I say this, if every a movie is made on every individuals life all movies would win oscars for the amount of hardship we (especially the middle class) have faced. Be strong and I am sure we can find a way out of this.

If you were asking about taking lorazepam and xanax (with the active ingredient alprazolam) are both benzodiazepines and should not be taken together as they can result in serious respiratory depression and even result in fatal consequences. So there is no point in asking your doctor for a change and get fired in the process, as it is not safe or required at all.

Coumadin, lipitor, blood pressure medication and potassium is all safe to take together but I would advice against taking xanax and lorazepam together. Please refrain from doing this, medications are all not the solution. Stay positive and remember, god has a plan for you and things will certainly get better.
