Brief Answer:
Give Paracetamol; no need of antibiotics now

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

If the fever is of less than 48 hours duration, cough is dry to hear and he is otherwise active and playful, this is probably a viral illness and we need to give only Paracetamol. You can give 1ml of Pyrigesic drops 3-4 times daily for 3 days. For cough, you can give 3.5ml of Salbutamol syrup(2mg/5ml) 3 times daily for 3 days. No need of antibiotics now.

With these measures, he will be fine in 3 days. If not, we can evaluate further and manage accordingly.

I hope this answer will help
