Can Severe Cough Cause Inter-menstrual Bleeding?

Question : Hi, I have a period question. I started my period on the 16th of December and had a heavy period the first three days then lightened up, it lasted a normal amount of time and then went away. Now 13 days after the start of my last period I am bleeding again. The blood isn't as much as a normal period, but it's more than spotting during ovulation. I also have a cold that has come with a severe cough. Yesterday I coughed hard all day and lots of nose blowing. My question is, can severe coughing and nose blowing during ovulation cause you to bleed in-between periods?
