Brief Answer:
Seems like trigeminal neuralgia
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
As per your description it seems like a condition known as “temporal neuralgia”. A chronic pain condition affecting the trigeminal nerve in the face. It’s quite common among elderly people. However we have to rule out some conditions affecting salivary gland diseases. Get an MRI scan done to rule out salivary gland diseases.
As a first line management, you can take analgesics like gabapentin or carbamazepine.
If symptoms persist surgical intervention needed. Consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
Thanks
