Thanks for your query,The person who had bladder stones earlier has to undergo specific investigations to rule out any metabolic disorders of Calcium,Phosphorous ,Uric acid metabolisms and chronic infections of the kidney
If he is proved to have no major abnormality and having normal kidney function.
he can donate his kidney.

please specify recommended tests/investigation???? He also has long-term history of high PSA with no symptoms.

Hello thanks for writing again.What is the age of a donor? Donor should preferably be below the age of 45 years.
The donor has to get following investigations done
1) Haemogram with Coagulation profile ,Blood Group and platelet count.
2)Blood Sugar levels to rule out Diabetes.
3) Serum Electrolytes
4) Blood Urea and Serum Creatinine.
5) Serum Calcium levels
6) Serum Phosphorus and Uric acid levels
7)Routine urine test and Urine culture to rule out infection.
8)Renal angiogram to study vascular anatomy of the kidneys.
9)
10) If his PSA levels are persistently high he should be investigated by doing Ultrasound guided multicore prostate Biopsy to rule out cancer of the prostate and MRI of pelvis.
