Can Something Be Done About Delayed Periods For Close To Two Months When Scan Report Shows A Hemorrhagic Cyst?
Question: Hello doctor,
I am 30 years old. I usually used to get my periods within 28 to 30 days. But this time I was delayed with 50 days ( my Lmp was 04/05/18)
I Did HPT and blood test everything turned to be negative. So doctor suggested me a scan and result came out as
LEFT OVARY: Measures 37*28*17mm volume:9.2cc
Shows cyst with internal septation measuring 25*24mm
LEFT OVARIAN SMALL COMPLEX CYST.
Doctor said like it can be cured with medicine but I hear from many of my friends that septation cyst can't be cured by medicine it has to be removed.
Is there chance for these cyst to turn out cancerous.
Need a help on this.

Small ovarian cyst with septations is most likely to be a hemorrhagic cyst, which is due to hormonal disturbance.
In hemorrhagic cysts, septations are thin.
Moreover, these are cured by medication, if less than 8 cm in size.
Cancer of ovary is unlikely at the age of 30 years, however CA125 levels can be done in blood to confirm its non cancerous nature.
There is nothing to worry and you can go for medical management of the cyst.

As per details given above what is the size of my cyst doctor. So medicine can cure the cyst how long medication will be needed to cure it. If once cyst gets dissolved is there any chance of coming back on future.
What is Ca125 test doctor how should it be performed.
And doctor has suggested me to have the tablet deviry 10 mg twice a day for three days said like I will get my periods but I have not got my periods yet what would be the reason for that.
