Can Stress Delay Period?
Question: Hello, I missed my period (late two weeks) and I have a funny feeling in the abdomen that occurs from time to time (like if there was a delicate soda bubbles, or sth was moving there. It doesn't hurt. What is it? Can it be muscle spams? dehydration ? or maybe sth else? I was doing some plants trimming a week ago that are located uphill and was using a lot of muscles I am not used to but I am not sure if I can explain it this way .... There was some stress going on too (moving to another location etc...) It doesn't hurt and is not in the pelvis area - definitely abdomen. Please help ....
Brief Answer:
Can be muscle twitches.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The funny feeling in the abdominal muscles that you are having can be due to twitching or dehydration or an electrolyte imbalance. Stress to the abdominal muscles can also cause this. You need to increase the intake of electrolyte rich fluids and avoid all stressful activities. This should improve on its own in next few days.
