Can Stroke Lead To Loss Of Vision Without Glaucoma Losing Peripheral Vision On Both Sides
Question: My wife is suffering from loss of vision. We believe she had a stroke or similar traumatic event that caused temporary blindness in 1999. She is now unable to read without extreme measures. Her eyes have been tested many times. She doesn't have Glaucoma or Rp. She is losing peripheral vision on both sides and has trouble coordinating her eyes. She is going to a vision Occupational Therapist. There is thought that there is some damage to the Posterior Cortex but no one knows how to treat it. She is 76. We live in Sarasota, FL area
