Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The sugars seem to be raised possibly due to stress.
The medication list that you have mentioned does not usually cause raised blood sugars, except maybe lasilactone.
However, I do not think that is the offending agent as the medicine was supposed to be for 7 days. If you have stopped the medication, the raised sugars would have returned to normal soon after stopping the medicine.
As for the Gemer P2, you can take a third dose.
However, I would suggest that you inform your treating dietician before increasing the dose of the medication.
And yes, if the sugars remain persistently high you may need to initiate insulin at least for a few days.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Feel free to contact us for any further detail that you may need.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Can we give Ragi ,Atta Chappathi and jawar when sugar is High or please let us know any specific food that should be given which is diabetic friendly and would not cause increase in the sugar Spikes.
When it comes to Fruits which can given at the mentioned level (210 before food) and 320(After Food) which would be diabetic friendly.
And thanks for your quick reply and suggestions. This helps us a lot in managing diabetes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Surgery is a stress on he body system. Not jut due to pain but also because of all the healing etc that is needed.
So yes stress induced hyperglycemia can be a cause.
Ans as I said Lasilactone is a cause- so you need to check on that.
As for food advice-I usually prescribe Everything, but in moderation.
However, since you want to know about low glycemic index foods, a few options are-
Bulgur (cracked wheat)
Whole wheat flour
Whole oats/oatmeal
Whole grain corn/corn meal
Popcorn
Brown rice
Whole rye
Whole grain barley
Whole farro
Wild rice
Buckwheat
Buckwheat flour
Triticale
Millet
Quinoa
Sorghum
Greens such as XXXXXXX spinach, and arugula.
Plant-based proteins, such as beans, nuts, seeds, or tofu
Carrots.
As for fruits, they are all sugary. So I would suggest waiting till sugars settle- however if you insist, a slice of apple may be used.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
