Brief Answer:
It does not seem to be testosterone causing it.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back,
Yes you answers were comprehensive details and pretty much relevant they helped me alot to rule in and rule out possible causes in your case.

In my opinion you worsening problem is not caused by testosterone alone, it might be playing a very minor part into it but this is more related to the medicines you are taking for your PTSD.

These medications can have unforeseen side effects in some patients specially if given together, There is no big issue in that though many people which these meds and PTSD do get night mares some can live with them and get too irritated that they want to get a solution of it.

So here you have to decide what you want to do about it. If you can live with them and they are just night mares and not haunting you and not affecting your everyday routine and peace of mind then it's ok other wise talk to your psychiatrist and discuss with him about the medication if he can reconsider your regimen or can change doses or drugs this might help.

Also look into relaxation and deep sleep techniques they do help. This can be made better just needs some time and proper management to be given.

In the end i will again state that in my opinion this does not seem that the problem is causes by testosterone.

I hope you are having a great weekend,

Stay blessed.
Regards.
