Can Tetralysal Cause Weight Gain? I Have Been Taking It
Question: Can tetralysal cause weight gain? I have been taking it for a month and have put on 4 kilos. Also my skin seems to be worse. Like everything is coming out of my skin.Is this normal and will it improve?
Brief Answer:
Reported side effect
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ma’am,
I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but it has been reported that this medication causes weight gain in a percentage of patients using it. However I would recommend that you get a blood test for kidney functions (blood urea nitrogen and creatinine) and serum electrolytes to exclude salt and water retention due its negative effect on kidney functions.
As for your worsening skin, please attach a photo for me to inspect and be able to assess the condition better. Also describe your skin condition in detail.
I hope you find this helpful..
