Can That Be The Reason For All This Fluctutions?
Question: I had a routine blood test 3 months ago, which i will put in pictures, everything was normal. Then 1 week ago i had another one because i was having burning ulcer pain and dr wanted to exclude gallbladdee and pancreatitis. On this new one my wbc hematology is all off. Aesinophils especially. Theonlything i did in that time frame was get the covid vaccine 3 weeks before this last blood test. Can that be the reason for all this fluctutions?

I acan only attach the one in question for some reason. I wanted to attach the one from 3 months ago. Which was all good, but those eosoniphils are high. I wanted to know if it can be due to covid vaccine, or maybe reflux i was getting when my ulcer pain was excaberates in those days.
Brief Answer:
May need further evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi Lomaqh, Thank you for the details given.
I have gone through the entire reports.
Everything is normal, except for the eosinophil count, which is significantly high
Although it is possible, seeing the magnitude of elevation, I do not think this is from vaccination . Instead, we have to search for other causes. Common causes are allergic reaction to some drugs, allergic conditions like hay fever/eczema, parasitic infestations or rarely hematological or chronic inflammatory conditions. If the dyspeptic symptoms are there for a long time, eosinophilic gastritis also is a possibility, although this is a less common condition.
Now, what we can do ahead:
If there are no other associated symptoms like allergy(recurrent sneezing/cough/itching/rash), fever, anorexia or weight loss, we need not worry much. For such cases, I used to order few more additional basic tests like ESR, Peripheral blood smear, serum LDH level and a stool microscopy. If everything comes back normal, we can keep this under followup and repeat the count after 3-4 months. Only if persisting, this will need detailed evaluation under a hematologist. Kindly discuss with your doctor
I hope this answer will help
