Brief Answer:
The most common complication is rheumatic fever.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The most common complication of strep infection that I see in the daily practice is rheumatic fever.
Another possible complication is kidney inflammation.

So, I suggest to do the following examination for further evaluation:
-Azotemia and creatinine levels to check the kidney function
-A throat swab test
-PCR test and sediment rate

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards!

Brief Answer:
The peeling skin is related to the healing process of the skin.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again dear,

Peeling skin is one of the symptoms of the streptococcus infection. Based on daily practice, this infection usually causes skin rash at first.
The peeling process indicates the healing of the skin.
You can use aloe Vera cream to soothe the peeling skin.

Hope it helps,
