Brief Answer:
Blood test will not give a false negative result.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
While taking Trileptal, the urine pregnancy test can be false negative. The blood test for beta HCG levels will not give a false negative result. The rising levels of beta HCG in blood when done twice at a gap of 48 hours will confirm the pregnancy.
Hope this answer is helpful.
