Can Vanco Treatment Cause Excessive And Thick Mucus?

Question: Hi, my name is XXXXXXX from Seattle. 10 years ago, I was diagnosed with MRSA in my head. The hospital released me without treatment. The MRSA was also found in my urine. This was contracted from an aborted face lift (because of bleeding) that I had 10 ten years previously. Those ten undiagnosed years were hell, becoming very ill for 3 or 4 weeks a year, being treated for a "sinus infection" which I had not previously ever had. I finally went to a MD/naturopath who placed my on vancomyacin (sp), via a nebulizer 3 times a day for 21 days. On the 12th day I had an anaphylactic reaction and ended up in the hospital for 3 days, treated for tachycardia? No previous heart problems? This treatment ended the MRSA, but now I have EXCESSIVE, thick, white, foamy mucus being made between my windpipe and the back of my uvula. It is so thick that it does not wash down the sink, I sometimes cough so hard that I throw up and these episodes can last up to 3 hours, 2 or 3 times a day. I have had endoscopies (normal), asthma tests (no). As soon as I spit a glob out, another one is formed. I can make a cup of this stuff in a mere 20 minutes. Aspiration is a concern. All it takes is for me to cough a couple of times to get this going. I have tried numerous sprays, mucus reducers and antihistamines and the only thing that works,a little, is Benadryl. My doctor says that that is the only antihistamine that has a brain/body connection. I coughed so violently during the anaphylactic reaction,that could it be, that when I cough (because of the thick mucus) that my brain tells my body to start making mucus? But, this is not your regular mucus. It is not normal. My nose runs during these bouts with the same thick stuff. My uvula is elongated because of the constant "sucking " to get this stuff from the back of my throat, this also causing sleep apnea (I now wear a dental appliance at night). The coughing is so severe that I also now have Gerd. I was taking Prilosec for a year, but now control it with Tums and X-Gas. I also tend to hold my breath during the day just to not feel the "flutter feeling" when I breath in from the mucus. I've been to 5 or 6 doctors and they just don't know how to treat it? This is really taxing my otherwise healthy body. I think that quite possibly that the vanco treatment via the nebulizer changed my mucus cells? Please give your opinion. Many Thanks. XXXXXXX
