Question: I work out for at least an hours 7 days per wekk with 4 of those days with a fitness trainer. In the past 4 weeks, I have only lost about 2 pounds ...... I use much caution and eat the lowest sodium foods as possible and usually only 20 -25 g of carbs a day. I drink at least 80 ox of water per day. I am lactoise and gluenten free. I am on the following medications ... rosuvastatin-10 10 mg;, apr-hydroxyzine 25 mg, Apo Esomeproazole 40 mg and mylan-burpropion XL 150 mg. The only thing I can think of is water retention???? I do have kidney stones as well. Should I go on a water pill or change any of my meds?

Brief Answer:
Calculate your BMI, water pills or other medication is not advisable for weight loss

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome
I have gone through your query.
I would like to know your height and weight, that will help in calculating your BMI. Which will help in knowing whether you are overweight or not.

Ideally in one month you can reasonably anticipate losing eight to 10 pounds if you follow a pretty strict plan. But I feel you have recently started I would suggest you to go slow and be patient.

I would suggest you to continue your regimen that you are on, you will get result. I would not suggest you to go for water pills or any other medication for weight loss.

Kidney stones, drinking plenty of water is essential. Flush therapy is not going to help if you have larger stone.

This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.

I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.

Take care.
