Can We Get Polio Surgery Done After A Year Of Epilepsy Surgery?

My sister is 24 yrs old now, she got polio for the right leg at the age of 3 months, she can walk by taking one hand's help. She also has got epilepsy at the age of 18, recently we had taken the surgery 1 year back for epilepsy. She is OK now, so we are planning to go for polio surgery, Can we go for it immediately?
We heard that the polio operation might be required multiple times, is it true for most of the cases?
Please give your suggestion.

Your sister had surgery for epilepsy one year ago. Now she can go for limb surgery for polio as she must have recovered completely by now.
The polio surgery is done in multiple stages depending on the degree of disability the person is having. A physical examination and detailed investigations are needed to find out the procedure needed and the number of stages required. Usually limb lengthening, reconstructive surgery and deformity correction is needed.
Your treating orthopedician will be the best person to guide you regarding this.
