Can We Give Crocin Drops Again ? Any Other Advice ?

Question: Hi Doc, we gave the baby (13 months, 11 kgs) crocin drops (240/5) 4 ml at 3 pm when the fever was 101 and Meftal-P 4ml at 7:30 pm when the fever was 103. The baby was active for a few hours after that. Now, the fever is 101 again at 11:30 pm. Can we give Crocin drops again ? Any other advice ?

Thanks for your query.

Yes, you can repeat crocin 250 every 4 hours but do not exceed 3 ml at once.
Do not give Meftal P within 8 hrs of the previous dosage. Take care meftal p not to be given empty stomach.

Do consult with the pediatrician ASAP for examination and antibiotic dosage
