Can You Give Me Insights On Why There Is Burning Sensation During Urination After Consuming Chicken Or Prawns?
Question: Hi Doctor, This never happened to me before but all of a sudden from the past 2 to 3 weeks i noticed when ever i have chicken, prawns after an hour when i pass urine it burns. this continues till the following day morning and by afternoon everything is back to normal. I generally drink a lot of water during office and at home. This has started very recently. Can you give me some insights on why is this happening? To give additional information, I do go to gym and from past couple of weeks I'm also taking proteins after workout, but the burning issue does not happen after I take proteins. I've noticed only after i eat chicken , prawns which I known are heaty foods, however this never happened before..
Brief Answer:
Dehydration or allergy
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Digestion of any non vegetarian food need good mount of water. If you have consumed less amount of water after chicken his can lead to burning urination.
Drinking more water during that particular period of time can get rid of the burning urination.
The other possibility is you being allergic to either chicken or any substance used in making the recipe. Try having chicken or prawn without spice or tasting salt. This if doesn't cause burning urination, then it is self explanatory.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
