Brief Answer:
You are free from HIV infection and safe.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
All the HIV tests available in the market are highly reliable. 3rd generation tests are up to 97% or more whereas 4th generations HIV tests are reliable up to 99% or more especially 3 months after any risky exposure. When it was negative with more than one test, then it amounts to 100% reliable. So you are free from HIV. No more test is necessary. Forget about the past and prepare yourself for your bright future.

Hi Doctor,
Thank you so much for the reply, I am very much relieved now. One final question there are lot of articles about late seronegative conversion in google all these articles make lot of confusion. I am having only diabetes so I don’t fall into that category correct, will the seronegative take more than 5 years. My last test was at 7th year after exposure which is negative. So i can be relieved from this.

Brief Answer:
Seroconversion 6 months after the risky exposure is unlikely.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
I am handling cases of HIV for more than 35 years. I came across more than 5000 cases so far during my career and I was in charge of a HIV testing center and also for two HIV care centers for sometime. I never have come across one such case of HIV. I had attended many national level HIV conferences where experts from all over the world used to address apart from the national level experts. Nobody reported such case so far. Seroconversion in most of these cases will not exceed 90 days after the exposure. It may be delayed if the individual was on any immunosuppressive drugs like steroids or drugs taken following organ transplantation. Another possibility is, if that individual started Post exposure prophylaxis and stopped without the completion of the course. In these situations also it would not have crossed a period of 6 months after the exposure.
So not to worry. you are free from HIV infection.
