Question: Hello Sir, Since few days i am having a itchy anus.. Looks like it is due to pinworms.. can you please tell me what should i do

Hello,
Pinworms do often cause itching in the anal area, and can be confirmed if you are able to see any of the worms around the anus or on the underwear. The treatment for pinworms is fairly straightforward, usually with albendazole, one dose of 400 mg on an empty stomach, and then another repeat dose after 2 weeks. The cure rate is very high with this treatment and would be worth trying even if you are not able to see any of the worms.
