Detailed Answer:
Hi again
Interstitial lung disease due to autoimmune disorder.
In such cases the main treatment is the medication of the autoimmunity.
In my opinion your treating doctor should increase the dosage of the drugs or should change them.
The cough is not such a good sign.It means that the autoimmune process continues. Its not that cough suppressants may help a lot.
Please discuss with your doctor for the above and he for sure will consider it.
Hope to have been helpful for you
