Can You Review Attached Report Had Routine CT Scan ?

Question: Can you review attached report, we had routine CT scan of my baby, I've attached the scan done yest and also last year in Aug.. FYI. he Born on 14th Aug, he was admitted to NICU, you can refer to his discharge report as well
Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry as of now
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through the reports and discharge summary
There are some minor changes in the brain scan. There is no much change compared to previous scan.
In my opinion, this is unlikely to cause significant developmental issues to the baby in future.
All that we need to do is to have a close follow-up of his development with a paediatrician. We can have an eye on his weight gain and head circumference growth. Also see whether he is listening to sound and light and maintaining eye contact with Mother. Any concerns, we will evaluate further.
Hopefully, everything will be fine
Let me know if you have further queries
Take care, thank you

Thanks, he has been taking levpil syrup and doctor advised him to countinue the same.. so just wanted to understand how levpil helps ..? What happens if we miss to give this syrup..?
Brief Answer:
It is to prevent seizures
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Levipil is to prevent seizures/fits from happening. With the current reports, chance of fits is very low, but your doctor may be more informed regarding this as he is regularly seeing the kid. If we miss the dose, the protective effect will be lost for the missed duration.
Usually, once he is free from fits for a duration of 1-2 years, we can gradually taper and stop the drug; better do not stop abruptly. While tapering, you may be asked for an EEG test. You can discuss all these with your pediatrician
Hope you got it clarified.
