Brief Answer:
about low cortisol;

Detailed Answer:
Hello amd thqnk you for asking!
I have gone carefully through your concern.
The symptoms you reported are suggestive for allergic reaction that usually react very good to corticosteroids.
You have checked the cortisol level in blood that resulted low and it is excpected when you are being treated with corticosteroids. So in your case it is not a pathology, but it is a temporary low level caused by the prednisone you are taking.
Hope the information will help.
Best wishes,

Brief Answer:
about low cortisol;

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
If the cortisol is checked, when you have been taking corticosteroids, it is expected to be low ( when you take corticosteroids the adrenal glands stop producing coryisol) . If you have not been taking corticosteroids when you checked cortisol level, you should see an endocrinologist in person for further exams.

Hope the situation is clear.

Hi again,
You should be 48 hours without steroid to check cortisol level, or if the physician has high suspicions can suggest synacten stimulation test.
