Brief Answer:
Folliculitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
Although the photograph is not very clear but it appears like folliculitis, a superficial bacterial infection.
Please apply ointment mupirocin twice daily for a week.
This will give you faster relief.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.

Just to explain to you what it looks like. It is a red area on my index finger with a white dot in the middle that%E2%80%99s why I said it looks like a pimple that%E2%80%99s coming to a head. I don%E2%80%99t have the medication that you were talking about. It looks like I would need a prescription for that. I am seeing my primary care physician on Thursday for a regular appointment, I will talk to him about it. In the meantime should Continue to use the Neosporin? I use the Neosporin at night. And also should I continue to use the Oxy 10 which I use a couple of times a day? Thank you for your help.

Brief Answer:
Use Neosporin

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
You can use neosporin, however it would better to avoid Oxy 10 as it is an irritant.
It's a common skin problem, there is nothing to worry about.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
