Cause Of Elevated SGPT Levels?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Alteration of liver enzymes may have different causes.
I would suggest that you get a ultrasound of the upper abdomen done.
If that is normal then you need not worry.
Antihypertensive and cholesterol reducing drugs can also cause alteration of liver enzymes. The treatment for that is only supportive.
In your case the liver enzymes are not significantly altered requiring any aggressive treatment.
I hope this answers your query.
regards
