Brief Answer:
Please upload the complete echo test report
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
I would like to be XXXXXXX with you, Mr. XXXXXXX Since all echo values/dimensions are inter-related, piece-meal report will lead us nowhere. Kindly scan the ENTIRE echo report and upload it for my consideration.
The selected values provided do not give my any useful information, except that the left atrium is enlarged, as well as, borderline enlargement of the
right ventricle. These findings have several connotations which do NOT fit in with your symptoms. Let me have a look at the complete echo report (including left ventricle size, volume, diameter etc.) before giving my professional advice.
With the limited information available,
shortness of breath can be due to either, acute
anxiety or a rare possibility of episodic failure of the left heart. But the latter possibility is excluded by the fact that you put in strenuous physical exertion daily.
Isolated enlargement of Left atrium and right ventricle (in the absence of stenosis or incompetent heart valves) may be either idiopathic (having no known cause); or, part of an emerging condition called Idiopathic
Dilated Cardiomyopathy.
Lastly, it would be beneficial and also diagnostic if you take
Ativan thrice daily and study the response on shortness of breath/
numbness.
Numbness may be due to disc herniation in the neck region. An
MRI will rule out/detect bulging of the disc.
Further, both: shortness of breath and numbness over half body cannot be ascribed to a single condition.
You may carry on with your exercises, pending your appointment with the cardiologist.
Looking forward to the COMPLETE echo report.
Regards,
