Chest Pain With Fluid Sounds. X-ray, Echo, ECG Normal. Taken Medicines For Gastritis. Symptoms Persisting
You are young male and possibility of heart disease is highly unlikely at this age. The ECG test is good enough to rule out major heart disease. It is time to concentrate on other reasons.
A chronic left sided chest pain can be because of :
- Muscular problems present with pain during respiration and exact tenderness. Hence this is unlikely.
- Lung problems present with breathless XXXXXXX and cough. Since you do not complain, very unlikely either. Chest X-ray ruled out.
- Gut issues - I could think of this possibility because of its chroncity (6 months) and bubble sounds.
You should better seek an advice from a local Gastroenterologist. He should be able to help you better. Acid reflux, GERD, Chronic Gastritis are common reason. There is a complete cure for these if you approach the right expert during early stages. Remember the medicines for gastritis has to be for long term and follow up is also important. You might have stopped the treatment early before the results.
Hope I am of some help to you at this hour.
Wish you good health.
Thanks for your follow up question.
Numbness, tingling and burning sensation are features of sensory nerve involvement. If you have feeling of numbness in left hand, fingers along with pain in shoulder blades, armpit, you should get x-ray cervical spine to rule out the possibility of cervical rib, that is extra rib and often it presents with symptoms as you have.
So please get x-ray cervical spine and proceed further, your pain is not of cardiac origin, it has feature of sensory nerve involvement that need investigation.
Regards and wish you good health.
