Child Cannot Recognize Colors, Diagnosed With Mild Color Blindness.
Thanks for posting your query.
Your grandson definitely had partial colour blindness. As a rule colour blindness is not a disorder which shows variation in the symptoms on a day to day basis.
The retina (a structure at the back of the eye which contains the cells partially responsible for vision) needs to be examined, if the problem does not subside after 24 hours of allowing thee dazzle effect and the UV exposure effect to wear off.
In cases of colour blindness, the retina examination is usually normal and the colour defect remains stationary.
If there is a change in the level of colour blindness, the child is to be examined to revise the diagnosis.
Hopefully after a night's rest he would be much better there is no need to worry right now.
In case of any problem, please do get back to me.
