Child Vomiting, Loose Motions, Cold And Cough. Giving Spolac, Seriflox And Cough Syrup. Suggest?

Question: Hello doctor
My baby boy is of 17months and he is suffering from vomating,loose motions, cold and cough.What liquid we give him viz XXXXXXX juice,coconut juice,he vomit at same just after giving him.So pls tell us what to do now.We are also giving him.medicineSpolac powder,Seriflox 100 dt and siocof cough syrup.

Thanks for the query.

This kid seems to suffer from two problems both of which need to be detailed about. Loose motions and vomiting suggest gastroenteritis for which relevant therapy appears to be started. But it is important to understand dehydration concept ... you may read at WWW.WWWW.WW
We should avoid XXXXXXX or coconut juice; but child may need liquids feeds or ready made oral rehydrating solutions. Vomiting of these cases need specific medicines keeping their side effects in mind.

Cough per say can cause vomiting ... often it responds to treatment of cough.

A lot of information is missing... how much... how often..... since how many days... what came first? Is the breath or motion is foul smelling?

Please provide detailed information as incomplete information will give incomplete understanding of the situation.
