Brief Answer:
a rare possible side effect
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Increased blood pressure is one of the rare side effects of gabapentin. It can occur in 1 to 10 % of persons who use the medication though this tends to occur closer to the 1% than 10%.
If your blood pressure was controlled before you started this medication then it can definitely be a possible cause if there were no other changes.
It would be best to speak to your doctor to see if it is a likely cause for you and if any changes can be made
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
