Could Hexidine Gel Cause Brown Spots At The Area Where A White Hollow Ulcer Was Healed On The Left Cheek?

Question: Hi,
Age: 34
Had an ulcer with white hollow on left cheek for 7 days. I applied hexidine gel on it to treat it. It healed now, but has small 2-3 brown spots now like a scar ?. Ulcer is healed, but left some small brown spots on it.
Worried what these spots are ?.
- Is it due to medication hexidine ?.
- Are these moles like we get ?. Can we get 2-3 moles on the area in a day or two in?

Brief Answer:
Looks like Pigmentation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Your explanation looks like pigmentation caused due to ulcer formation and inflammation in that area.
Mole will not appear in 2-3 days.
Please upload a picture of the spots.
Also please tell that are the spots raised from the mucosa or not?
Is the area of spots painful?
Please write back.
Regards.

- Spots are not raised from mucosa.
- Pain was there earlier. Since the ulcer has healed, pain also has reduced.
- If you look at the pic, there is brown color spots on the healed ulcer spot.
Let me know if hexidine can cause this staining ?.
Do I have to worry about anything else?

Brief Answer:
Nothing serious.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I have viewed the image and there is nothing to worry. The pigmentation can be due to the recent inflammation or even hexidine but still is nothing to worry about
It will get better on its own.
So please do not worry.
Thanks.
