Could I Take Azithromycin While Taking Zoloft?
Question: I was wondering if I could take Azithromycin while taking Zoloft? I have no heart issues in my family and I am very healthy.
Brief Answer:
Yes you can but be cautious!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It is safe to take Zoloft alongside azithromycin. However, there is a small risk of irregular heart rhythm as they both prolong a segment of the heart electrical activity. For how long do you plan on taking Azithromycin?
I wish you well and feel free to follow up with me if you have any further worries
