Could Lamictal Intake Be Causing Severe Abdominal Cramps And Diarrhea?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be lamictal
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern
Even though both these adverse effects do occur with lamictal, in this case , it's unlikely. If there is fever, XXXXXXX white cell count, blood in stool or tenesmus associated with the diarrhoea then infectious diarrhoea should be treated immediately with antibiotics eg ciprofloxacin with metronidazole. Fluid resuscitation in case of dehydration should also be done.
