Question: Hi - yesterday noticed raised bump, above penis. Assumed was pimple or ingrown hair, attempted to squeeze, some clear liquid excretion. Today the area is tender, but bump is not tender itself. No noticeable blister, but has gotten more purple throughout the day. Concern for std.

Brief Answer:
Not related to STD.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

There is a red area where the bump was. I don't think this can be related to STD or something else to get concerned about. Most probably it was an ingrown hair or a pimple. I don't think that you need to worry about it. The red part that has gotten more can be inflammation due to trauma of squeezing it. So as a conclusion you don't need to worry about STD because it doesn't seem related to it.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
