Could A Raised Gray Spot On The Buttocks Be A Sign Of Cancer?

default
Posted on Tue, 13 Feb 2024
Question: I went to the gynecologist today and he found a raised grayish spot on the inside of my butt check about the size of a silver dollar. He did a biopsy to determine if it is precancerous or cancer. I was kind of in a daze after hearing this and remember he said it could be skin cancer but I do not remember the other types he mentioned. Do you know what other types it could be?

The rashes you mentioned do not require taking a biopsy to determine precancerous or cancer type. I asked what type of cancers could be found by a biopsy in this area.
