Question: Two questions:

Could an old pneumothorax and/or Covid mild pneumonia cause mild emphysematous changes in a chest x ray?

I am an 18 pack year former smoker but quit 30 years ago. Also, after recovering from Covid I did the 6 minute walk test and walked 730 meters no problem

First of all emphysema is not a x ray diagnosis.
It is CT diagnosis.
So get done CT thorax and PFT for the confirmation of asthma.
And cause can be smoking and past history of Covid.
