Could Constant Twitching In The Eyelids Be A Sign Of Anxiety?
Question: hello ive been trying to lay down and close my eyes for a little while now but everytime i close my eyes it feels as if my eyelids are twitching and its giving me anxiety! ive never had this happen before. Any advice on what this may be would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance
Brief Answer:
Probably anxiety/fear!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have reviewed your information fully.
This is suggestive of anxiety symptoms and more so because this is the first time you are experiencing this. For now, be calm, relaxed and think of some quiet and good moments you have had in the past so as to distract yourself from this current episode.
For now, monitor only. Should this recur frequently, I will recommend you get on treatment for anxiety?
I wish you well and do keep me updated about this.
Regards.
