Brief Answer:
Mostly due to change in Dialysate Temperature

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.

This can happen in dialysis patients due to any of the following reason

1. During procedures, changes in the dialysate temperature can raise or lower body temperature because the blood is returned to the patient in thermal equilibrium with the dialysate.

2. Allergic reaction to Dialyser specially in setting where a new dialyser is used or when dialyser is re used.

3. Infection at the site of AV Fistula or the Blood Access site.

Mostly first reason is the mos common reason.
You should discuss this issue with your Nephrologist, he would adjust the temperature of the dialysate.
Also, he would see for any evidence of infection on the Access site.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any query you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Thanks a lot.
Is there is a possibility to have enlarged neck lymphnodes (one side) due to allergic reaction to dialyzer?
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
It is very unlikely to have enlarged lymph nodes (unilateral or Bilateral) as a result of Allergic reaction.
In severe acute reaction, it may occur but only transient.
In case, she is having enlarged lymph nodes then she requires diagnostic workup for that because ESRD patients on Dialysis have very weak immunity and are very prone to catch infections, particularly Tuberculosis.
So, get investigated and get proper treatment.

I wish her a Healthy and Happy Life.
