Question: Last night my husband said my body was on fire and he could not even sleep next to me. I run a temp normally a 97.9 so it wasn't that??? Could this be a symptom of something serious???

Brief Answer:
No.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

if you're feeling well (no symptoms) and your body temperature is normal (like 97.9) then there is nothing to worry about. If you do have symptoms, then please let me know which.

Perhaps it was just a hot night? Or your husband if feeling less comfortable with high temperatures than he should? The latter may denote thyroid disease and is usually accompanied by weight loss despite the increased appetite, rapid heart rate, sweating (moist hands all the time), irritability, intolerance to heat, etc.

You can use your follow-up questions if you have more information to share about this case regarding either your (or your husband's!) symptoms.

Kind Regards!
