Could Headache And A Bump On The Forehead After Getting Hit On The Head Lead To Possible Internal Bleeding?

Question: Hello! I got hit on my head on Tuesday evening, so 3 and half days ago. In result I got bump on my forehead and top of head feels sore. Yet I am worried about slow brain bleed.
I did not pass out or vomited, but got strong headache. Now 3 and half days later I still get occasional headache and pressure. Weird thing is that the right side temple has pressure and hurts on and off ( hit was on right side), the forehead hurts when I touch it and not only bump area. I also have pressure on top of my head and around nose, also neck hurts occasionally. I am trying to gigure out if I could have slow bleeding in brain. Overall I am not off balance, not vomiting ( occasional dizziness), my pupils are same size and no memory or speech issues. My head does get tired quicker than before but not over sleepiness either. I did get some head pressure when carring groceries upstairs. may main complaint is head pressure and temple pressure with occasional neck pressure. Please advice what should I look out for.

Brief Answer:
Recommendations below, probably concussion.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I see a lot of patients with head injury in a daily basis, from mild cases to severe ones.

Yours is likely a mild case, or concussion since you didn't loose the consciousness, there's no nausea or vomitng, and there are no neurological signs besides occasional headaches.

In most of the cases, brain bleeding and its symptoms ( true neurological ones ) happen within the first day after trauma.

Slow bleeding happens generally in older patients, those with coagulation problems, etc.

You should be worried if there will be any neurological symptoms such lethargy, seizures, vomitng, speech and vision issues, limbs weakness or numbness, usually within the first week.

Otherwise, if there's improvement, your symptoms should resolve in one week or so.

You can use ibuprofen for few days in order to get relief from the symptoms.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Hi thank you for your reply. Saturday - 4 days after the hit on head I felt good and no headache but Sunday - 5 days after hit on head I have had headache on the same side all day, more like pressure than pain, on top of head and behind the head, little on side.. no neuro signs still but little dizzy because of headache. Do you think I need to wrry about it or it is unrelated. I have had these headaches before.
Also how many days after the hit is safe start using cayenne again as I know it is thing blood and natto. Anything else I need to look out for?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
You can use cayenne and natto.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

Since you had these headaches and before the accident, I think these are not caused by trauma.

You can use cayenne and natto by now.

Look for neuro signs that I mentioned in our previous discussion.

Hope this helps.

Greetings.
