Brief Answer:
Trigger point injection
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting us for your health concern
Pain is a very common side effect of trigger point injection. It is due to mild inflammation. Nothing to be worried about. This will subside by itself in 4 to 5 days.
You can apply ice and take Advil 400 mg 4 times daily for pain relief.
If the pain persists after 5 days or worsens, follow up with your doctor to rule out complications like infection.
