Could Memories Of Sexual Abuse Be Planted In A Child's Mind And Not Be Real?

Question: my daughter went to be evaluated by a Shrink for exception children placement in school. The "Shrink" came back and said she needed bio feed back to be less stressed....so we agreed....later she started having memories of being sexually abused by our baby sitter....my son who was baby sat at the exact same time says it didn't happen...could these memories of abuse been planted?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It is possible your daughter is mis-remembering things. However, memories cannot be 'planted' by a psychiatrist -- this is folklore and not possible. It is entirely possible your daughter was actually abused -- your son could not have been with both your daughter and the babysitter all together 100% of the time. I would take this seriously until more information comes to disprove it.
Hope I have answered your query.
