Question: So my period was about 5 days ago, on Friday. It ended on Monday, but that isn’t abnormal for me because my periods are normally short. my period has ended, not bleeding, but I have been having lower abdomen cramps all day for the past three days. no nausea or anything like that and I don’t know what’s wrong with me

Brief Answer:
Please see detailed answer below.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Generally most of the females experience lower abdominal pain before or during the menstruation. But cramping after your periods is called secondary dysmenorrhea or post-period cramps. No need to worry if it goes off. But if the pain is lasting longer, I would suggest you to get tested for USG abdomen and pelvis and visit gynecologist for further evaluation.

Hope my answer helped you. Thanks
